What are the new dates for the festival and where is it taking place this year?
Horizon Festival will be taking place on 26th March – 2nd April 2017 and will be in Arinsal, Andorra. This has become our new home for 2017!
Why did you move locations this year?
Andorra is served by an abundance of cheap flights via Barcelona and Toulouse and is closer to home. The new site is more compact, allows for a better festival feeling, and for the first time we will be able to hold parties up on the mountain where we were not able to do so in Bansko. We do hope you can make it to our new location!
What is the festival schedule?
On Sunday we have a night time program in Arinsal. During the week we have music all the way up to Saturday which is our last big night. On Sunday we only do a few day time activities as this is when most of our customers leave.
Can I DJ at your Festival?

I bought the early bird VIP tickets what do these include?
These tickets include a full week festival ticket with entry to over 30 parties, showcasing 120 International DJ’s across 6 music packed days and nights combined with a VIP Upgrade. The VIP upgrade provides access to Horizon guest areas & artist bars, welcome drinks sessions, one Secret Party, venue queue jump and priority accreditation.
Where do I collect my festival wristband, lift passes and other purchases?
To exchange your tickets for festival wristbands and collect your festival purchases come to our accreditation point. Remember to bring your ID and booking confirmations.
Accreditation times and details are as follows:
Location: The Tavern, Coma Pedrosa Hotel. Carretera General Arinsal, 12, AD400 Arinsal, Andorra. This is a few feet away from the Gondola.
Date/Time: Opens Saturday 25th March at 2pm and then 7am to midnight each day from 26th March to 1st April.
Will things such as paintball sell out or can you purchase these once at the festival?
We would advise you to buy paintballing and other bolt-ons in advance on our booking system just to be on the safe side as this may not be available on site.
They sold out last year!
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes we offer airport transfers to and from Bacelona and Tolouse airport to your hotel door provided by our transfer partners Andorra Travel Services.
Barcelona Airport transfers are approximately every 2 hours from Barcelona. Prices start from 30€ each way.
There will be 3 transfers per day for Toulouse Airport which we will increase on demand. Prices start from 32€ each way.

Do you have a Horizon Pre-party ?
Yes we have a pre-party night on Saturday 25th March in Barcelona which includes Barcelona Hotel, Transfer and Club Entry. This will be available to buy soon on our booking system.
We are going to Andorra a week before the festival to ski; will the ski resorts be fully accessible?
You will be able to enjoy the mountains as they will still be fully accessible to the public.
What ski passes do you have on offer?
We offer a 3 day ski pass, this pass commences on your day of choice but must be used on consecutive days.
We also offer a 4- 6 day ski pass, these passes commence on 27th March 2017 and are non-consecutive meaning you can have ski days off without wasting days.
What is included in your ski hire?
Ski hire includes skis, boots and poles only.
What is the difference between Gold and Bronze ski hire and standard and advanced board hire?
Ski Hire Gold is for the more advanced skiers.
Ski Hire Bronze is for beginners or intermediate skiers.
Board hire advanced means the equipment is better suited to someone who is a professional boarder.
Standard board hire is perfect for beginners or intermediate boarders.
What are the Horizon Festival Shuttle Bus operating times?
Horizon Festival Shuttle Busses will be operational from 8am till 6am each day. Loops between villages will be every 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on peak times.
What does the special limited offer ticket include?
The special limited offer ticket includes a full week festival ticket pass combined with Village Guest Area access which allows access to the Village Guest Bar only.
When will the full line up be released?

Are name changes available?
Yes, name changes are available until the 31st January 2017 and will incur a charge of £12.50 per person. To make a name change please contact the booking support team on 00441133504114 Mon- Fri 10am – 5pm or drop them an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be able to assist you.
Is there a minimum age for Horizon Festival-goers?
Yes, you must be 18 years or over to attend Horizon Festival. No refunds against the festival portion of the package will be issued for attendees who are under 18. Please ensure you bring your photo ID.
Is there a Festival Only Pass?
If you’re just not that into the winter sports and you just want to enjoy the greatness of Horizon parties then you can buy a ticket just for the festival. But please note some of our parties are up the mountains and are best accessed with skis or board.
What if I can’t ski or board?
Hey don’t worry! Book some lessons to get some tuition from a pro and you’ll be taking on the mountain in no time. There’ll be plenty of people at Horizon that’ll be first timers on the mountain, so don’t be shy!
Do I really need insurance?
Yes! Everyone must have insurance and it must cover you for Winter Sports. Proof of insurance covering the event dates will need to be shown at accreditation.

I’ve paid a deposit, when do I need to pay the rest?
Deposit payments are 50% of an attendees booking and currently reserves the attendees’ own accommodation and festival ticket. Full payments must be made by 28th February 2017.
If I cancel will you return my deposit?
Deposits that are attributed to the festival tickets are non-refundable. If for any reason attendees cancel their booking BGN Festivals Ltd will not be liable to refund them. Deposits are currently attributed to accommodation and festival tickets. BGN Festivals Ltd will endeavour to refund costs attributed to accommodation, lift passes, bolt-ons or any services up to 28th February 2017 for those that booked after 15th January 2017, after this date BGN Festivals Ltd retain the right to keep deposits against reasonable costs. Refunds are generally not permitted after 28th February 2017 for those that booked after 15th January 2017 due to contractual arrangements with the resort, for this reason BGN Festivals Ltd advise all attendees to take out travel insurance.
I bought my tickets with one of your ticket agent partners, where do I collect my ticket?
You will be contacted nearer the time with directions to the 24/7 accreditation hub in Arinsal where all customers are to collect their festival wristbands in exchange for their tickets and any other purchases brought. This is a ticketless event but ID and confirmation of booking will be required at accreditation
What half week options do you have on offer?
We have the following half week tickets available:
1st Half Week Festival Ticket- Valid from Sunday 26th March to Thursday 30th March 06:00
2nd Half Week Festival Ticket- Valid from Thursday 30th March Noon to Sunday 2nd April.
Additionally we have 1st and 2nd half week tickets combined with 3 day ski passes only.

What days are your accommodation check-in and outs?
Our current accommodation options are scheduled for check-in from 23rd March and check-out until 5th April.
Apartment Ribasol, Arinsal, Crest, Sant Andreu, Coma Pedrosa, Micalou, Moritz and Princesa Parc hotels will be charged at 7 nights minimum even if you stay for a shorter period. Magic Ski and Marco Polo hotels are charged at 4 nights minimum with check-in from Tuesday 28th March or later. Hotel Solana is charged at 4 nights minimum with check-in from Thursday 23rd or later.
You can pay the full amount now or pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking. Full payments must be made by 28th February.
You can also book directly with hotels or through other suppliers and they may be able to offer you a wider choice of the dates to arrive and depart. You do not have to purchase your accommodation with us.
